Severe Selective Profile Amnesia
Oblivio investigatio socialis falsa
Clinical description

Patient spent three hours last night scrolling their crush's Instagram back to 2019. Has examined the Italy photos, the cousin's wedding, the break-up post nobody acknowledged. Today, at a coffee, patient said 'oh, did you go to Italy? That's so cool.' The crush said 'yeah, a few years ago.' Patient, knowing the exact hotel, the exact caption, the exact outfit, nodded casually.

Prognosis

Chronic. The performance is, at this point, automatic.

Recommended treatment

None. Admitting the deep-scroll would collapse the entire operation.
